An Evening of Stories, Hope and DREAMS

   More than 90 friends, supporters, and community members gathered for an unforgettable evening celebrating the power of meaningful employment and the lives being transformed through DREAM Grant County.

​   Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by Brother's Barbecue before watching a heartfelt video featuring DREAM employees and their families sharing how meaningful work has changed their lives.  Tisha Riley's inspiring musical performance set the stage for an evening of storytelling that celebrated resilience, perseverance, and hope.

​   Nationally acclaimed storytellers Paul Strickland and Bil Lepp captivated the audience with stories that made people laugh, reflect, and connect.  They then brought that same energy and humor to our "Not So Silent" Auction, helping raise funds to support DREAM's mission.

The evening concluded with an exciting look toward the future as Executive Director Mona Lazarus shared updates on DREAM's growing impact and unveiled the vision for a future employment complex, designed to create meaningful employment opportunities for citizens of all ability levels.  The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of a beautifully crafted model of the future DREAM campus, created by Georgia Dahlberg, an 84-year-old military engineering veteran whose extraordinary craftsmanship brought the vision to life.​

​   Storytelling has always been at the heart of DREAM Grant County.  Every story shared builds understanding, inspired hope, and invites others to become part of a vision that will continue changing lives for generations to come.
